GMM holds a number of exploration licences in Mongolia focussed on the north-west region of the Country.
These licences are divided into two main projects:
(a) The Uvs Basin Project: these licences focus on a large basin which the company considers highly prospective for bedded potash and lithium brines.
(b) The Khangai Fault Project: these licences focus on the Khangai Fault, a prominent fault which lies within the much larger Mongol-Okhotsk suture zone which stretches 3000km into Russia and is up to 200km wide.
All licences in Mongolia are held by GMM’s 100% owned Mongolian subsidiary, Golden Cross LLC.
